Artwork Guidelines for Custom Stickers and Labels

Send us your artwork, and we’ll provide an online proof within 24 hours. You can request changes to the proof, and we’ll make them for free until you’re completely satisfied.

We recommend uploading vector artwork whenever possible.

Acceptable File Formats

We accept most file types. Below are the most common formats:

Vector formats:

  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • PDF
  • EPS
  • SVG
  • Sketch

Raster formats:

  • PNG
  • JPG/JPEG
  • TIF/TIFF
  • PSD
  • PDF

Resolution Requirements

  • Artwork should be submitted as vector files or raster images with a resolution of at least 300 PPI.

Border Requirements

  • Standard border size: 0.1” (1/10 inch)
  • Artwork will be proofed with our standard border size. If you prefer a smaller border, please specify during upload.

Bleed Requirements

  • To include a bleed, artwork must have a 0.0625” (1/16 inch) bleed surrounding the cutline.
  • This requirement cannot be adjusted. Please note that not all designs qualify for full-bleed printing.

Cut Line Requirements

  • If you’d like to specify a custom cut line, use a magenta stroke (0.05–1 pt thickness).
  • It is not necessary to create a separate layer or label the cut line as "cut line."

Font Size Requirements

  • For legibility, we recommend a minimum font size of 6 pt.
  • If the text is too small to read, we’ll contact you during proofing.
  • Fonts need to be converted to outlines. In Adobe Illustrator, you can do this by using the "Create Outlines" option, which transforms the text into vector shapes.

Line Thickness Requirements

  • We recommend a minimum line thickness of 1 pt to maintain quality and clarity.
  • If your lines are too thin, we’ll address this during the proofing process.

Color Requirements

  • For accurate printing, use CMYK colors in your artwork.

There are also file size limits in place to keep everything running smoothly. If your file is too large, it’s a good idea to optimize it. Our support team is happy to help with file compression or size-related issues to make sure your stickers are printed on time without any hassle.

By following these guidelines, you’ll ensure a seamless process from uploading your artwork to receiving stunning, high-quality stickers every time.
